Foxfeather? Is that your real name?
Yes, it is. It is my legal name, though most people that know me just call me Fox. It is not my handle, it is not a nickname. It has a long story behind it, and it is who I am.
How did you learn to draw like that? Can you teach me?
Well, I have been drawing since I was very young, and I enjoy it. I have since gotten more 'classical' training at the University of Minnesota, and I am currently working on a major in Studio Arts. A lot of it just came naturally to me, a lot is repetition, and a lot was my background in the arts. No, I cannot teach you how to draw. My suggestions, if you wish to learn how to draw, is what I would say for any other skill-practice. Take classes if you can, at your school, local college, community college, or art center. Carry a sketchbook with you all the time and sketch constantly. I believe that there is innate talent involved, but the biggest key to 'being a better drawer' is honing the skills you have through practice.
I love your (Insert animal type here)! Where can I get one?
I have a variety of links up on my exotics pages that will direct you to more information about many critters, including those that own me. If you are asking this question, please realize that I spend hours EVERY day taking care of the animals that live with me. If you like to travel, if you can't cut hours out of your day right now to devote solely to a companion animal, if you don't have a nice cushion of money to pay for food, supplies and vet bills, an exotic pet is NOT right for you. It is a huge responsibility, and as much a tether as a positive experience.
