Migizi (the Ojibwe word for eagle) is a messenger to the gods, bringing our hopes and prayers to the creator, soaring to the heavens with our words on his wings. Here he is on watchful vigil, listening by the light of the moon. March 2013 5" x 8" Acrylic on natural turkey feathers.
