Easy Asian Salad

This super fast meal is delicious and crunchy – something to win over even the most devout salad-hater!

Ingredients

1 pack of (oriental flavor recommended) ramen noodles, crushed into small pieces

1 tbsp butter

2 tsp sesame seeds

1 bag napa cabbage (shredded)

1 bag romaine lettuce (chopped)

1/2 cup shredded carrots

Dressing:

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1/2 cup sugar

1/4 cup white vinegar

1 tbsp finely shredded ginger (or ginger powder)

1 tbsp chopped garlic

1 tbsp sesame oil

(Optional - packet or half packet of oriental ramen seasoning)

 

Directions

1. Add all dressing ingredients in tupperware or dressing container - shake to mix. Refrigerate 30 minutes or more (will keep for 2-3 days) - shake before using.

2. In skillet, brown crushed ramen and sesame seeds in butter, medium heat, stirring constantly to keep from burning.

3. Toss fried ramen and vegetables in large salad bowl to mix. Serve with dressing.
