Dire Wolf Symbolism

The dire wolf is a prehistoric member of the canine family that disappeared around 10,000 years ago. The dire wolf was taller and more massively built than its modern day cousin, the grey wolf.

Wolf people tend to revere individualism, but retain a predominant sense of family. Wolf as a totem represents all aspects of sociability, and the need for variety (in internal and external affairs) to remain healthy. Wolf is a strong symbol of loyalty and patience. Wolf medicine is deeply rooted in the importance of learning through teaching, new ideas, freedom of mind and body, and responsibility for self and others.

About Pendants

Our pendants are individual works of art hand-finished by the artist herself. The shape, size and coloration of each tagua slice is unique, so they would vary from the example shown. Each pendant comes in its own gift box, making it a great gift for any Dire Wolf lover.
